*****Final Transcripts for Graduating Seniors Attending College******
Do you need a transcript sent to your prospective North Carolina college/university?
Go to: https://www1.cfnc.org/ExternalScripts/My_CFNC/transcripts.asp to have a copy sent electronically directly to your school of choice through CFNC.org
Advantages of requesting an electronic transcript is that it minimizes the chance of your transcript being "lost" in the mail or not being "attached" to your application. Additionally, your final transcript will be sent out automatically. You will not have to make a request at the end of the year.
**If you are attending a college or university out of state you will need to visit the guidance office by June 09 to request a paper copy of your scores be sent.
Teacher Cadet Honors for the 2017-2018 school year...if you are a rising junior or senior and interested in the field of education, please see your school counselor about taking Teacher Cadet Honors.
Seniors, if you are planning to attend college in the Fall, please make sure you have completed the FAFSA at FAFSA.gov. This type of financial aid is a grant in which students do not have to pay back! Almost all students who apply get money for college!!
Scholarship Opportunity:
The Law Office of Nancy L. Cavey believes firmly in the importance of education. That's why they have decided to award a generous $1000 scholarship to a student of their choosing.
Deadline: August 1, 2017
Award Amount: $1,000
Minimum GPA: 3.0

Applicants must be either currently enrolled or accepted to a University in the United States, be able to provide an official school transcript or acceptance letter verifying their enrollment (can be a screenshot of transcripts, grades, acceptance letter etc.)
Scholarship for Juniors!!! The Presbyterian College Fellows Award recognizes high school juniors who have demonstrated the potential for future success. The $4,000 scholarship awards $1,000 annually for four years of study at Presbyterian College. You must be nominated by your school counselor and must meet the following criteria:
Juniors and Seniors. Qualified students (for Career & College Promise) have an opportunity to take online summer college courses. The term starts June 12 - August 7 (eight weeks).

ACA 122-College Transfer Success
ENG 111-Writing and Inquiry
ENG 232-American Literature
PSY 150-General Psychology
SOC 210-Introduction to Sociology

- PSAT score of 1100 or higher
- SAT score of 1100 or higher
- ACT Composite score of 22 or higher
